Variscite is a mineral closely related to turquoise – mineralogically speaking, a “hydrous aluminum phosphate” – with the distinct difference of containing no copper. Copper gives turquoise its characteristic blue color. Without copper or other metal impurities, variscite in its purest form is white, but often it occurs in a variety of colors: green, yellow, orange, and black.
Turquoise is not only a stone for finding wholeness and truth; it is also an aid in the communication and manifestation of those qualities.
